| A recent contribution to the city from Communist-era rule is the New Bridge over the river Danube, seen here from the parapets of Bratislava Castle. Its obvious feature is the odd, saucer-shaped structure housing a restaurant on the bridge's pylon, earning it the nickname "UFO Bridge". |
