| A few kilometres east of Tipaza is the Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, tomb to Roman client-monarchs Juba II and Cleopatra Selene II (daughter of Cleopatra and Antony), in their reign as king and queen of Numidia and Mauretania, built in 3BC. It was Heritage-listed in 1982.
