| Standing on the Via di Mercurio (and the Via della Fortuna off to the right) stands a memorial arch, with Vesuvius in the background over the city's northern walls. This arch held a statues of emperor Nero and of Nero Claudius Drusus (brother of emperor Tiberius) in its niches. |
