| Moses was reputed to have died on Mount Nebo, to see the Promised Land he was forbidden to enter, after leading the Jews out of Egypt. The view from here provides a panorama of the Holy Land and the river Jordan valley. Jericho (and Jerusalem on a clear day) is visible from here. |
