| The small Qasr Libya museum has a startling exhibition of 50 detailed Byzantine mosaics, dating from 529-40AD, under Byzantine emperor Justinian I. They were uncovered in 1957 by Libyan dam workers from the floor of a church ruin, impeccably preserved. |
