| Looking down the entrance linking the Tsarevets medieval citadel to the old town of Veliko Târnovo. It was the main citadel of the second Bulgarian Kingdom during the 12th-14th centuries, with Tarnovgrad (as Veliko Târnovo was then known) as its capital.
