| Across from the church of St. Nedalya stands the Statue of St. Sofia. Once, a figure of the Communist leader Lenin used to stand here, replaced after the fall of the Iron Curtain by a 24m bronze statue of Sofia's guardian saint, holding the symbols of wisdom and fame. |
