| Looking west from Battersea Park to the Albert Bridge; opened in 1872, it later needed supports installed in the 1970s to prevent further damage inflicted on the already-weakened bridge. Because of its tendency to vibrate when large numbers of people walked over it, it was nicknamed "The Trembling Lady". |
