| Looking east out over the Casbah to the city's harbourside facing the Mediterranean Sea. Despite issues with sanitation, water shortages and widespread neglect, the Casbah is over-populated. It attracted a Heritage-listing in 1992, but the Casbah has been deteriorating since. |
