| The garden boulevard of Vokiečių gatvė (German Street) borders the south-western border of Senamiestis, ending at the Town Hall; it was known as Muziejaus gatvė (Museum Street) during the Soviet era. This area is very popular with open-air restaurants and balconied bars, late into the night.
