| Lying not far from the coast of Perast, deep within the Bay of Kotor, lies a tiny island with only a church on it: Our Lady of the Rocks. Local fisherman have been throwing rocks into the sea at this location for centuries, forming an artificial island and allowing a Catholic church to be built here in 1632.
