| Approaching Kotor, at the easternmost point of the Bay of Kotor, hidden inland from the Adriatic Sea. Founded by Illyrians, fortified by Romans and Byzantines, it was taken by Venetians where most of the structures date from. Most of the walled town of Kotor was Heritage-listed in 1979.
