| The Catholic St. Tryphon Cathedral is one of the oldest buildings in Kotor, built in Romanesque style in 1166 on the ruins of a 9th century temple. Earthquakes forced several restorations: a major one in 1667 had the two bell towers completely reconstructed in a baroque style.
