| The Norwegian church ("kirken"), a Lutheran church that was prefabricated in Norway and erected by the whalers in Grytviken in 1913. It is one of the most southerly churches in the world and was consecrated on Christmas Day, 1913; there was a Lutheran pastor in residence until 1931. |
