| Grytviken's seperator plant. Every drop of oil and gram of protein was recovered from each whale carcass. The cooking of blubber, meat and bones yielded three raw products: oil, glue-water, and solids (grax). They were treated in settling tanks and centrifuges in these seperator plants. |
