| Looking over the head of King Edward Cove from the dam wall of Gull Lake, across Grytviken's cemetery below, to the old whaling station itself. The name is Swedish, for "the tri-pot bay", after a Swedish expedition found old English tri-pots used to render seal oil at the site in 1902. |
